The court also granted provisional bail to Vinod Tomar, another defendant in the case. Both defendants were granted provisional bail with a bond of Rs 25,000 each. The court will hear arguments for his regular bail plea on Thursday.
delhi police had filed a charge sheet against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and Vinod Tomar, suspended under-secretary of the All India Wrestling Federation, on June 15.
The charge sheet against the six-time Singh MP was filed under sections 354 (assault or criminal force on a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 354A (sexual harassment), 354D (stalking) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the CPI.
