UP: Spilling beans is costly for a 55-year-old woman, murdered by her nephew’s wife | News

BIJNOR: Three days after the decomposed body of a 55-year-old woman was found inside her home in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor DistrictPolice arrested the victim’s nephew’s wife and her lover in the murder on Tuesday.
The incident took place in Khari people low Haldaur Police Station area.
According to the police, Qamrunissa’s first husband, 28-year-old defendant Mohd Hanif, was a paralyzed patient. Three years ago, he secretly married her mistress Zahid Ahmed, 30. When the victim, Zarina Khatun, smelled it, she revealed the secret to all of her relatives.
Upset by this, Qamrunissa and Zahid, both from the city of Haldaur, came to Khatun’s house on July 11 and strangled her to death. Zarina was a widow and is survived by three children who work in Delhi.
The incident came to light when one of his sons, mohammad junushHe made several calls but got no answer. She later asked her neighbors to keep an eye on her, who later told her about a strong stench emanating from her house, which was locked from the outside. She immediately hurried home and opened the door to find Khatun’s body lying on a cot. She informed the policemen who sent the body to the district hospital for autopsy.
Bijnor Police Superintendent Neeraj Kumar Jadaun formed two teams to investigate the case.
“Qamrunissa and her lover Jahid were arrested and sent to jail. Both defendants confessed to the crime. The police recovered Zarina’s mobile phone, the house keys and the scarf used in the crime,” the SP said.
