Rozgar Mela: PM Modi Distributes Over 70,000 Appointment Letters To New Recruits | indian news

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed more than 70,000 letters of appointment to new recruits on Saturday and addressed them via video conference. Recruitments were carried out in central government departments, as well as state governments and Union Territories that support this initiative.

The new recruits, selected from across the country, will join the government in various ministries and departments, including the revenue DepartmentDepartment of Financial Services, Department of Post Office, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Enterprises, Water Department Human Resources, Department of Personnel and Training and Ministry of the Interior, among others.

Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in generating more employment and provide meaningful opportunities to youth for their empowerment and participation in national development, PMO said.
New appointees also have the opportunity to train through Karmayogi Prarambh.an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 580 e-learning courses have been made available for the ‘anywhere, any device’ learning format, according to the PMO statement.
