It should be noted that yesterday, the Delhi High Court allowed Sisodia to meet his ailing wife from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday. However, the court said that Sisodia will be in police custody during the meeting.
Sisodia had earlier filed a provisional bond citing his wife’s illness. Granting the AAP leader free on bail, a court under Judge Dinesh Kumar Sharma said he (Manish Sisodia) will not interact with the media, use a mobile phone or access the internet.
“The court further ordered that the medical report be verified and that Sisodia’s wife’s medical report be submitted positively tomorrow night. The court further added that Sisodia will not meet anyone except her family members during this period.

Sisodia’s legal team also filed a provisional bail statement in the Delhi High Court citing his wife’s medical illness. Provisional bond is seeking direction from the court to grant six weeks bail.
On March 9, the ED arrested former Delhi Deputy Prime Minister Manish Sisodia in the liquor policy case, after hours of questioning at Tihar jail.
Sisodia was previously arrested by the CBI in its ongoing investigation of a case involving alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of the excise policy of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD).
