Legal and professional services group Gateley is targeting further growth after a strong first half of rising revenue.

Revenue has grown by 22% in the six months to 31 October 2022 and is expected to be no less than £76m.

Underlying adjusted pre-tax earnings are up 11% and are forecast to reach £9.4m.

Chief Executive Rod Waldie said: “In a period that included previously announced investments to strengthen our operating model and some anticipated and appropriate post-pandemic increases in operating costs, our resilient business model, improved by an ever-growing range of ancillary services, and our integrated ‘one team’ culture, continue to be the driving forces behind another strong financial performance for the group.

“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank our customers for their support and our dedicated people for their continued hard work, commitment and positive attitude.

“We are excited about the wide range of opportunities ahead for the group and look forward to continuing to grow the business, both organically and through acquisitions, in line with our stated strategy.”

The Birmingham-based firm has UK offices in Leicester, Belfast, Bolton, Nottingham, Guildford, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Reading.
