CNG SUVs: Three new CNG SUVs in India for less than Rs 10 lakhs: Maruti Suzuki Fronx and more

maruti suzuki introduced the fronx nationwide in April 2023 at a starting price of Rs 7.46 lakh (ex-showroom). The Maruti Suzuki Fronx CNG is available in Sigma and Delta variants, priced at Rs 8.42 lakh and Rs 9.28 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom), respectively.

The CNG variants come equipped with a 1.2-litre NA bi-fuel petrol engine, which produces a maximum power of 75PS and a maximum torque of 98.5Nm. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Maruti Suzuki Fronx CNG offers an ARAI certified mileage of 28.51 km/kg.

Hyundai Motor India recently launched the Exter micro SUV in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Exter is also available in bi-fuel CNG option in S and SX variants, priced at Rs 8.24 lakh and Rs 8.97 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).

Under the hood, the Hyundai Exter CNG It is equipped with a 1.2-liter bi-fuel gasoline engine, which generates a power of 67 hp and a maximum torque of 95 Nm. It is associated with a five-speed manual gearbox. Hyundai claims that the External CNG provides an ARAI mileage of 27.1 km/kg.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG

Maruti Suzuki launched the Brezza CNG in India in March 2023. The price of Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG starts from Rs 9.24 lakh and goes up to Rs 12.15 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).

The Brezza S-CNG is powered by a 1.5-litre NA bi-fuel petrol engine producing a maximum output of 85.5PS and maximum torque of 121Nm, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG offers a declared ARAI mileage of 25.51 km/kg.
